Delivering End to End Connectivity to Emergency Services
NEXES’s bold approach to mobility and end-to-end connectivity in the emergency services context was discussed during the 12th International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Systems: Computing, Networking and Services (MobiQuitous 2015), organised by the European Alliance for Innovation (eai.eu) in Coimbra – Portugal, on July 23rd and 24th.
Presented by Mojca Volk and Janez Sterle from the University of Ljubljana (UL), the NEXES pilot planned for Slovenia and the NEXES 112 App for First Responders highlighted the panel session discussing emergency response and intervention management solutions before an audience of international top-quality researchers working on systems, apps and services involving mobility and ubiquitous computing.
NEXES’s participation at MobiQuitous 2015 (mobiquitous.org/2015/show/home) is part of the NEXES Consortium dissemination effort, focusing on building awareness to the NEXES RIA by getting NEXES, its ambitious goals and achievements known to the relevant target audiences. Then, the NEXES Partners will continuously feed significant stakeholders with NEXES unique features (generating differentiation awareness) that ultimately will secure the targeted audiences’ loyalty to NEXES concept, approach and vision.
